Make Refrigerated Display a Breeze with Structural Concepts

Enjoy easy maintenance, reliability, and energy savings with Structural Concepts' Breeze slide-out refrigeration system—engineered for top performance.

September 17, 2024     2 minute read

Owning a refrigerated display case should be hassle-free, which is why we love Structural Concepts. Their self-contained cases feature the Breeze slide-out refrigeration system for superior performance and ease of maintenance. Breeze uses flexible, aircraft-grade tubing instead of copper, allowing the entire condensing unit to slide out without risk of leaks or blockages. This design ensures easy access for maintenance without tools.

There are two Breeze systems: Breeze (NSF type I) and Breeze-E (NSF type II). Breeze is suited for environments up to 75°F and 55% relative humidity, while Breeze-E handles warmer and more humid conditions, up to 80°F and 55% relative humidity. Both offer reliability, ease of service, and excellent temperature consistency.

Refrigeration Innovation

Slide-Out Refrigeration

The first refrigeration system designed to slide out, making it a “breeze” to maintain. Components can be easily reached for cleaning or adjustment, tools free. Flexible, synthetic hosing replaces copper tubing (which can kink or break) for more reliable use without risk of leaks or blockages.

Smart Microprocessor

The smart microprocessor recognizes ambient conditions and adjusts the defrost cycle automatically to eliminate ice buildup and fluctuating temperatures to create a consistent environment, the key to product shelf life and products.

Oversized Condenser Coil

Oversized condenser coils enhance airflow, reduce motor strain, and lower energy use by efficiently rejecting heat. This design prolongs the refrigeration system's lifespan and improves efficiency.

Energy Efficient and Less Global Warming Impact

Both the Breeze and Breeze-E systems feature a proven energy-saving design with multiple efficient components that significantly reduce daily energy consumption.

Hot Gas Condensate Pan

Makes use of the hot gas by-product from the compressor by running it through rust-resistant pan tubes to evaporate defrost water without having to use electricity. This is the single largest contributor to daily energy savings.

High-Efficiency Compressor

A smaller compressor that requires less energy to achieve the same BTU’s per hour as a standard size compressor.

Rifled Tube Coils

Coil tubes are etched and fluted to create more surface area and turbulence in the refrigerant, providing a more energy-efficient transfer of heat through the coils.

ECM Fan Motors

These motors are 325% more efficient than shaded pole motors. The IP 66/67 evaporator motor provides increased durability during cleaning and operation.

LED Lighting

75% more energy-efficient than fluorescent lighting.

Structural Concepts’ refrigerated display cases offer effortless maintenance and superior performance with their Breeze slide-out system. Featuring energy-saving technology and robust design, these cases provide reliable efficiency and long-lasting durability. Choose Structural Concepts for a top-tier refrigeration solution that meets your needs and enhances your operation.
