With over 50 years of combined expertise in the foodservice and construction fields, PJ and Michael are set to be key players in boosting growth in the region and enhancing Sam Tell’s presence both nationally and globally.
PJ Patton, Director
PJ Patton brings a wealth of experience in both the hospitality and residential sectors with her to Sam Tell. As a former Vice President of Construction for a national distributor, PJ has shown her ability to streamline operations, build strong teams, and deliver outstanding results.
In her new role as Director of the Northern California office, PJ will use her expertise to fuel Sam Tell’s growth in this vital market. Her experience covers the entire project lifecycle, from design and development to value engineering, permitting, construction, and inspections. She has a special talent for executing projects through from start to finish with great success.
PJ’s leadership goes beyond construction; her 15 years in restaurant operations management and staff development have enhanced her deep understanding of the foodservice industry. We are delighted to welcome her to the Sam Tell team!

Michael Scheiman, Managing Director
Michael Scheiman brings a unique combination of culinary and design/build experience to Sam Tell's leadership. After spending 15 years as a chef at Michelin-starred restaurants, Michael transitioned into the design/build industry. As Vice President of Business Development and Design at a leading national distributor, Michael helped expand their operations significantly.
We are pleased to welcome him in his new role as Managing Director of the Northern California office, where Michael will spearhead Sam Tell’s efforts in further strengthening its presence in the design/build market and expanding its robust practice. We are excited to have Micheel join our team as we commence the year!
