Designing in a landmark status building always has its challenges, and it gets even more challenging when the kitchen needs to meet the high standards of two of New York’s most esteemed chefs. Relocating the finishing kitchen from the former operation to the ground floor for the Le Rock culinary team required a fully custom design and fabricated equipment set-up to squeeze into the space that was carved out of the old dining room. In addition, the cellar level kitchen needed to be adapted to include a full bakery-pastry program.
The Chase Sapphire Lounge at LaGuardia Airport, completed in 2023, consists of a stunning open concept show kitchen featuring a custom cooking suite, a full scullery, two general use pantries, plus an additional “CEO” pantry. With three beverage stations and a round bar, it offers a sophisticated space for travelers.
The Pfizer corporate cafeteria in New York, completed in 2023, is an expansive build featuring two large kitchens, including an open concept show kitchen. The space also includes a high-end employee server, eight floors of executive kitchen pantries, and two ornamental coffee bars with unique counter configurations.
